Thanks, I enjoyed it, and a very good time for my second time out in over two years. It was nice seeing old friends and new people again.

Wishin I could have made it ...But gotta do what ya gotta do. Hope to make it to one of your hang outs . Been tryin to get on Moss Lake with a buddy but it aint worked yet. Glad ya had fun and caught some fish. Keep up the good work.

If any of you liked the blue lights on my boat. I found them at Amazon.com - E-Goal 3528 Blue Waterproof LED Strip light With E-Goal Logo Ribbon -
These are the 3/8 inch wide lights. The ones under the boat are 1/2 wide. I can't find the name of the place I got those.
The blue LEDs lite up the yellow line and rod guides really well. They defiantly draw the bugs

How are these lights hooked to your boats electrical system? Can they be wired in the same as any other 12v light???

Yes, they are 12 volt, low draw/ lots of light and pretty cheap to the 15 foot sting, I cut then in 3 pieces,. You have to solder wires to the parts you cut off but no big deal. If you need help with that drop by you are close.
I have them( the blue ones) hooked to my trolling motor batteries with a quick discontent , the white lights are on a switch to the auxiliary battery.
I'm pretty sure you could hook to your cranking battery for several hours without problems.
I have room for the extra battery and since I run the bait tank for striper fishing I wanted to be able to not worry about draining the cranking battery

I had a great time and got to put some faced with names. I'd like to thank newly for putting it together and hope we do make it a monthly thing. I would also like to thank all who came for taking it easy on me, and letting me take the pot. It was nice talking with y'all and getting new ideas and tips. For me, that's what it's all about good times, good people, and sharing what we know. I'm looking forward to the next one.

My step-son Matthew and I had a blast catching fish and fellowshipping with everybody. Want to give Newly a big thanks for putting together another good get together for all of us who could attend and thanks for the cooking of the hot dogs, and doughnuts. We fished Sunday so Matthew could get some practice at shootin docks, the fish did not get any bigger but we caught a bunch. We will be looking forward to the next time we can all get together and do it again.
Difference between day and night: Day= one rod, one jig/Night= Many rods & a bucket full of minners
