Posted on the Arkansas board a couple months ago that I would be visiting for work and would like to do some fishing. Ended up meeting a retired gentleman named Mickey who took me out fishing a couple times. I learned more in three trips than I could learn in a summer alone. That's the great thing about this site and the people here. The crappie never really cooperated, but we did catch 67 catfish in 4 hours. We kept 14 good eaters for lunch the next day.![]()

Looks like great time and great pics
You are correct, awesome site. I don't think no matter how hard I try or do I will ever repay the help that has been given me over the last 4 years, I help where I can and when I can I share my rig. Spent the morning and early afternoon today with a young man who had never crappie fished until this summer when I have taken him a couple of times, always fun to see someone learn and enjoy our sport.

I completely agree with you about the site and the people on it. I have had two different members take me out on their boats this year with them because I can no longer handle one on my own due to injury. Excellent people on here and I feel very fortunate to have met them. Congrats on your good haul and your time in Arkansas.
