When in doubt, play it safe. Lots of water and lots of fish, wish I had some secrets to share, still learning them big ponds myself!

I think I need at least 2 of those.... Wonder where you mount the transducer to keep from damaging it while you are rolling it around.

I use Teckville or Holiday Lodge most of the time. If you are in a small boat with the winds it can be dangerous. The ramp at Engineers point is much better if you can spend the extra time to drive. Holiday Lodge is closer to me when driving down from Collierville. I take 309 most of the way. All depends on water level etc. Most of the time there is only one decent ramp at teckville which is cool for me since i try to go in middle of week when everyone's at work. An advantage i have having week days off.

For jig fishing, I would just put one extra peat stool way up near the front of the boat. For spidering I would put two side by side base plates 18 inches from two high tec rod holders sitting as close to the front as u can get em. I would also put the interchangeable trolling motor bracket and buy a Terrova for trolling. When jigging just change trolling motors in less than 2 minutes. For cranking I would put 2 nine inch high techs in the back sides and add a couple side by side base plates in the back. That's if you like pulling with different length rods and not fanning them out. All this is gonna cost ya around 2500. U may want to go fishing with spmeone rigged up and go from there. This game ain't cheep

Sardis can handle that ranger. There are times when that ranger can't handle Sardis.
