x3. I received mine before he received my payment. I got an extra set of base plates to pull cranks and worm harness out back on Erie, when I'm not spider rigged for crappie. I have hooked up crank baits on timber that would make big catfish look like bluegill. My SpyderLoks have never flinched!

I've seen the pictures and read all the posts, but until today I had never seen or had a chance to play with an actual SpyderLoc rod holder! I gotta say I was SUPER IMPRESSED!!!! This thing is built like a tank and has features that I didn't know a rod holder needed until I saw this one in action. All I can say is WOW!!!!!

Looking at these and wondering one thing. How long does the rod handle have to be to work in these ?
The end of the rod behind the reel that goes in the holder .
Mine are shorter that normal only 5"to 6" and most rod holders don't work with that short of handle.
    On a spinning rig....

if anyone with these could take a look and see ?

    Thanks,
    Mike

I have some and my crank pulling rods all have short handles. I don't find it hard to get them out with the reel sitting inside the holder unlike some of the other brands I have used. Are you going to use these for spider rigging or for pulling?

Neither....just rod holders...I fish two rods a lot...with cork n minnow's and get tired of just sitting the rods on the floor. Need a holder for them to get them off the floor.

For adjustment and ease of use, they are hard to beat. They will work for your short rods.
