    Default guided crappie trip on toledo


    I am gonna get the chance to go on a guided crappie trip with my work. one of our contractors is gonna take us next Friday. 9 days away. I have no clue which part of the lake we are gonna go to, but I know we are gonna stay at FIN AND FEATHER camp Thursday night. I will post pics of the trip. I can't wait. gonna be a hoot.

    I would love a guided trip...not just to catch a lot but to pick his brain and learn. That would be worth it! Have fun!!

    Doc, trying to get you even more excited about your trip. This is only a few of the fish - the largest ones we took with guide Maurice Jackson fishing the 12-15 area. We got many more than these, but as you see there are two crappie there over two pounds. He is NOT extending his arms out here to make them look bigger.

    The GOOD news? He's still catching big ones so I know they're there.

    I hope you get them!

    A good shot of one of those Toledo Bend slabs comin' to the boat...On that trip, I shot 216 photos - most embargoed for an article in a magazine I am doing.
