    Thanks. That is what I figured. Maybe something for heavy equipment. Not for trolling motors. Maybe a BIG a!! Trolling motor. LOL

    Yes they make 36v batteries for trolling motors. They weight 29lbs not 400lbs. yes you need a special charger. yes they cost over 2K not including charger. god knows how long they will last they are a brand new technology.

    the real question is why? if you need a 36v trolling motor you must have enough room for 3 batteries. if you only hvae room for 1 battery i would assume you have a smaller boat and therefore can get away with a 24 or even a 12.

    Ok now that you got a 36v troller and 3 batteries for that you are gonna have to add a 4th battery to start the motor and run the electronics.. So the troller don't put interference on your screens. Right?????
    So now ya gotta get a bigger boat to haul all that around.......so now ya need a bigger troller.........it never ends..
