Geez, those look like some big rainbows. Again, I have never caught any either though. I live in Harrison County, so it looks like on Oak Lake in Clark County would be the closest to me at about 35 miles or so. Thanks for the link and the fish education.

Well just got in from a slow & hard night of fishing. Fishing 35 f.o.w. fish were 22-35ft down. We did manage to get our limits but it was rough.

RiverScum & I got to slap the water for alittle while last night. Bass Tournament on the lake, ramp was completely full :-( So we figured it was going to be tough. Fish seen every kinda of lure. We hit a hard water spot a popped 4 Bass, 3 pike (2 were dinks). Then we set up for the late night crappie bite. Crappies had lock-jaw but we did get 5 all were under 12". Pike was 34" just a hair over 9#
Nice fish. Good job
thanks frank.
you cant see it in that first pic, but my face was drenched. when i netted that pike for polecat, it got me dead center in the face, with a huge splash. i mean that fish drenched me good! lol sure glad it wasnt 40*s out.
RiverScum & I back at it last night. Few hours before dark beat the pads for bass, with just a few small takers. Then searched out the crappies. Drop the "Reel-Lites" sit and wait for bait to come in. Then the feeders. Not the location we were excpecting but we will take it.
