is that BnM West Point rods that you are using to pull cranks? If so how do they hold up to the task?
They are. I use two 8 foot WPCP's and two 11 foot WPCP's. If they made a 14 footer I would be in hog heaven. I like glass for cranks. Heck, the green carp boys use glass for their crankbaits poles, so why not us? They are very tough, forgiving, limber enough that they dont tear out a mouth, and best of all....they are cheap! I really need to find a 14 foot glass pole to go with my set. Anybody know of one? Currently pulling with two of my 14 foot Ozark trolling poles, but their action is a little stiffer than the BnM glass poles.

Fire Cast makes a glass 14, I use em for pushing when I have 10 poles out. They are heavy tho but do well. I too use an Ozark in the fourteen and like it, the Crappie Max poles from Bass Pro are pretty comparable to the Ozark. Got a couple of 18 footer and really like them, using them in a bigger rig is a lot easier than in a shorter rig.

My boat is only 17 1/2, so I am gonna stay 14 and under for my poles. Where can you find those firecast glass poles?

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
