It has been a while since I stopped to submit a fishing report. Just been lazy. So here goes:
Archie, Jerry and I blasted off this morning around 6:30 am and fished until around 12 noon. About noon we got to watch the wake boats and water chiggers come alive.
We fished some docks and bluffs. About half of the fish came from shooting docks. The best color for me was Pearl White Bobby Garland Baby Shad. Using 1/32 oz. 4 lb. test. The water temp. was 80*.
We caught 23 Crappie with 13 keepers. Ended up with 2-1/2 lbs. of fillets. Yum, Yum!

Kingfish, I'm glad to read a report from your down on your end....I have to admit it, but I've been a water chigger some this summer, with a purpose, took a LONG trip up the Hiwassee, scouting for crappie/docks/new water that is....![]()
