Thread: Tire balancing

Stopped in to get my new tires re-balanced this AM. In the waiting area, they had the weather channel on. Keeping in mind that I haven't watched the weather channel in years....they had a show on that was call AMHQ. Ended up taking about 30 mins to do my truck.....30 minutes and about 27 seconds of weather was all that was there. Had a report on some Orca watching they were doing up in Washington and even had a live reporter there doing bumps from one segment to the next (in which they bemoaned climate change for dwindling orca numbers BTW). Had one segment whipping up a frenzy on a little storm in the west antiles that had a 70% chance of turning into a tropical depression by the time it made it to Florida complete with computer modeled projected tracks...at this point they segwayed to a recap of 2005 storm activity that produced Hurricane Dennis and threw in a mention of climate change again.

Then, just a minute ago, someone sent me a video of a lady that was jumping off a high dive and decided at the last second not to and it didn't end pretty, but she was unhurt. AND the clip was from a weather channel report.

Hey, I've got an idea...why don't they report the weather and leave the climate change, orca reports and diving accidents for Al gore, PETA and America's Funniest Home Videos. These people are rurnin' mah life!

In other news, G is old, Sat is oldest and Donnie is uglier than both of em.

Well here's my .02 worth. Three minutes before the tornado hit my house they showed a street map showing it at 5 miles and quartering away from me. I'll never trust them again.
