Feeding minnows

I have three stock ponds that have nothing buy minnows in them. I seined some this afternoon and put some in a tank an put a aerator in, but not
sure what to feed them. I know they can make it for weeks without anything, but would like to give them something. I started to put some cornmeal in the tank, but thought I would wait and see what you folks thought.

I just use the cheap gold fish food from Wally World. I just feed them a little every few days. Feed them much and you need to clean tank about once a week.

Never feed your minnows. They will last for weeks and longer with no food. Adding food causes you to need to change the water often.

I use the Tropical fish food at Wally's. A Little goes a Long way tho. RCC is right about the water if ya over feed them!!!!

I could answer this better if I knew the GPS coordinates of your three ponds, and also possibly your schedule of when you are gone to town, etc.

Malone's fish farm sell white crappie from sippi. Would work great in ponds full of Minnerz.
