Gates at Grenada are releasing 3100 CFS and wouldn't surprise me for them to open them a little more today, been increasing it daily for the last several days. Lakes down .20 in the last 24 hours this morning so we got a little current. Should help, looks like a trip to Nader is in order for a little cranking, the others are on too so the cranking should just get better.

Not ifn you crappie huntin', needs to be COLD for that. You can snag some big ole cats tho and catch on a cork too. Once they get it settled in on how much they are gonna raise the outlet level it should be good spillway fishing for a while.

I wouldn't be too hasty Bama, let us get a good report or two under our belts before you head out. Nader has been tuff this year and that may not change much.

I was fortunate enuff to win the contest bama was putting on a little while back, Ms Tammy and I will be staying at his place on Lake Martin for a week in September so I will be straight up (as I am with anyone else) with him all the way as I feel certain we will be taken very good care of while we are in AL.
For the record I don't do a lot of calling, some but not no where near as much as I get called or pmed, when called or pmed I always answer truthfully, sometimes if a tourney is coming that truth is I just don't feel comfortable helping until after the tourney, but the truth.

Ha ha..... I was just joking bout coming over. We are booked at work for three weeks and I get my evaluation on my shoulder Friday . Local fishing for me only the next couple of weeks. I've been studying the maps and water depths on Martin for a week now. I have come up with a spot that stays 25-35 ft deep and is known for crappie. I'm gonna try it early in the morning. I have a good feeling about this spot.
