    - put in @ longwood bout 10 am to go looking for new brushpiles- had a tip on some around goat island so that was the plan- crossing the lake outa longwood heading toward junkmans curve it was rolling swells like the ocean from the wind- 18-24" white caps - went on across but scouting in coves with that wind wont working out! decided after lunch to go back across & fish piles I found in longwood couple weeks ago- dumped the live well when got home & had 12 i'd keep- including 1 nice 15" fish - all casting jigs on brush in 25-30 fow- all fish on bobby garland Mo'Glo baby shad with a 1/16 oz pink head- only thing that got a bite today!- aint it fun when it comes togeather!

    My wife swears I only do enough surveying to support my hunting & fishing because I'm too busy hunting & fishing !

    It only gets better as water temp. goes down, keep hitting the b.p. on main lake also.lot of god b.p. around goat island , just hang too your right going back towards Clarksville,been off water for a while hope too get back soon. good report

    I bet it feels good to hit them after a dry spell. Great job!!! How did your G-3 do crossing the main lake?

    yea funny aint it how ma nature knows when you need a shot & gives it to ya! wind swells on the main lake was bigger than I like in my boat but them G3's will handle it if you do your part- by the time it got real bad & I headed back I got in 1 of them short coves in junkman & that 50 hp 2 stroke will jump her outa the hole real quick so came back across on top of it - if I would of had to set her down & get up again out in the middle might of been some pucker factor! when its like that I wish my 1756 was about 66 wide!
