Wonder if they will spawn in the shallow?

Its fun but I don't know if you will get in hard info those fish get tame and develop a pattern for that tank. I have a 20 gal full of Green Sunfish, Goggle Eye, Bluegill and Shiners and they will eat out your hand once they get tame. My son has a 55 gal with a Bass, Sacaulait, Longear Sunfish and Red Breasted Sunfish and they will literally come sit in his hand when he puts it in tank. I will try to post video.

As long as you catch em legal I don't see any reason why not.

The Aquariums in Bass Pro are better suited to see what the Crappie are doing. As A front was coming in I got to see the Crappie hugging the wall in a corner, nose down, Tail up. Moving like they were part of the rock. Fish responding in this way naturally will not feed. I think the tank you have is too small to see the whole picture.

I think that's kinda cool. Show us a picture once the crappie are in there. Remember though, they'll die if you think they will eat jigs. They'll need the shiners

I will post pics as soon as I put fish in. It is just something to play with.
