1st I would like to thank the Union county sheriff's department for holding this fund raiser. It was well run and they were a nice group of guys.
They had 13 boats , I think most stayed for the weigh-in. It was a winner take all tourney with a side big fish pot.
I seen a few teams weighed in before we did and most were around 25 lb with 5 fish. I seen a few teener class fish brought in. But with format not a lot was weighed in after we weighed.
Team Jeff Manning (bowlerman) and Justin Whiteside took home 1st and big fish
Our weight was 140# and big fish of 45#
We had a great pattern figured out and were getting the big fish to bite. We had 9 fish all night, putting 8 fish in the boat that weighed around 200lb total.
The Sheriffs said they are going to do this a few more times this summer so I'll try to keep everyone posted.
