    Default Henderson, Thurs. 7/24

It had been a week and the water leveled out so thought Henderson might be little kinder to me than it had been lately. WRONG again. Fished pretty hard, moving both North and South of I10 with little success. No keepers below I10 and just 4 to the North. Water is pretty and clear until you hit far N. Bijeaux, there it turns muddy red. The fish I did catch hit silver/gray 1/32 hair jigs in 9 f.o.w., fishing about 2 foot deep. There were a few bream scattered around but something is still holding that area back. We'll head to the Basin out of Myette Point tomorrow. A change of scenery may help. For you guys that chase bass too, I understand they are being caught off the points (in Henderson) in better numbers than the sac au lait. BC

We must have passed each other somewhere out there.....took my wife out for a boat ride and for her to take some bird pictures....we went from north Pelba, north Bigeaux, Phillips, Bayou Fordoche, & Butte Larose Canal to the bridge.....course, I had to wet a hook along the way some(nothing to report)..........6 AM to 9:30....really was nice early.....

Fixed the title from June to July.....
