Just depends on the day. One day they want one thing and the next they want something completely different, seems like. I haven't heard of anyone just burning them up lately though.

I have caught a little of everything but crappie. The best colors for me so far is sexy blue back herring ( strike king 3), salad bar , and black bubblegum. Is any other colors you would use. I have tried lots of others. I tried the arkies and caught brassy bass. I did use 7 foot leaders. The creek last weekend was 80 degrees and the lake was 82 and lots of the bait balls had moved back up in the creeks. I wish i could paint some of the lures but i don't have that kind of skill. I hope the heat will get them out in schools with the bait. I appreciate all of the help you have given me. CrappiePappy suggested I move this to this forum and ask the Western Kentucky Gang. I can use all of the help I can get. Thanks

Dark green, dark blue, black/pink, shad patterns. You'll just have to tie a bunch on and try to see what they want on that day. Don't be afraid to try different depths as well as colors.
