Thread: Butla .. Again

It doesn't matter.. After this fiasco of a thread I can assure you I won't be posting pics or info about what I or my buddy catches any longer. I don't care who believes what. I sure ain't got no reason to lie about catching a few crappie.

What a shame, guess yall succeeded.

Stop it. We don't care one way or another way up here in the North (or even most everywhere else). We just want to see pictures. Stop pushing on people posting pics. Let them be. Post your pics and don't even mention the lake then, please. This is supposed to be a family friendly site that shares fishing information, and each others camaraderie. And you don't need to share all the fishing details. Just enough to help each other out a little, and to help motivate us to go out there and fish for ourselves.

Good luck with that. It's human nature to be jealous and envy others. This site gets out of hand a lot. I don't see it stoping. It's a shame a guy can't brag a little or give a technique without getting cut down. You have to watch what you type or you get criticized in the most overboard way on any topic you talk about. This has been going on since I signed up. It's gotten worse I'm my opinion. I get on here just about every day and troll around whether somebody is telling the truth about a catch or telling a lie it don't matter it's good to read. People just need to lighten up on each other. But they won't. That also is a good read watching folks act a fool on each other till it gets closed down.

Bump all the people hating! Pictures=Motivation. Keep posting, cuz I love being motivated! Its awesome to see on my last day of work for the week to see that someone has caught em somewhere. Really gives me something to look forward to, and makes me so excited I cant sleep.

Reminds me a lot of my old boss. He was not happy that everybody was doing good. He was only happy if he was doing good and everyone else was doing bad. Like duck hunters. They can be limiting out but if you shoot some they think you're shooting their ducks.

Y'all get real were all grown folks if you can't take people doubting your story, get your toys and go home.The ones of us that doubted are locals to Butla and when you say people are catching 50 fish and wardens are bragging about stringers, we are gonna check it out.

Anyone less than an hour or so from a lake is local!!! I fished Butla most of my fishing life, but haven't been back for 2 seasons now. Summer of 2012 keeps me away. I've heard of others catching a few there, but I stand my ground on letting her rebound from the beating she took back then.

I agree that some get jealous about outsiders catching what they think are Their fish. They are the ones who hammered it, so now they get upset that they don't have the fewer that are left to themselves.

Keep posting your pics allisonboats!!! Like Slab mentioned, you might wanna hush hush on the gory details AKA the lake ya caught em on, etc.
