found the brushpiles but where's the crappies?
put in @ longwood bout 1 sat to hunt some new brushpiles- found 5 nice ones between 1 & 6 - fished each 1 just a little after finding it but only got 3 small crappies? wasn't marking any fish to speak of on em either with the sonar? guess they'r futher up the lake still- don't know- hardly any boat traffic - man love the new dock @ longwood!

the crappie will move back into the creeks when the water temps get back down to the 60's. you will come to learn the progression of the crappie bite as you fish more durin different seasons. Feb- May, they in the backs of the upstream creeks. then they move out to the main channel bout June. they move down lake toward deeper water til Oct, then start movin back into the creeks durin the Fall. hope this helps!
