Thanks for the great report and pics. Doesn't matter what kind of snake it is to me...it's bad! Brad

Lee and I finally got out and fished together since we hadn't for months and I wanted to try some tree dippin so it was off to Clinton...even with the non-stellar reports. We did fnd some fish on trees with the 10ft. depth being the best.....1/16oz. jigs tipped with a minnow within a foot or two of the bottom...we kept 10 with the biggest being 13.5 in. Nice mess of fish with another 13 and a couple of 12.5s in the mix. You definently had to work for em but with the nice weather and light winds made it a very enjoyable day...even fishing with 'ol Lee![]()
gotta watch out where you put your jig
, Lee spotted this guy as we were going by and with a little prodding (how did Lee live this long
) he got him to move his head but he was really lethargic....he looks like a copperhead, what do you all think?

FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FISHING...... hopefully in that order but honestly, not always!

Copper headed rattle moccasin. Seriously though looks like the copper heads we have around here.
Copper head I just killed one just killed one with the exact same markings yesterday.
Definitely a copperhead.
Way to go!
Copperhead no doubt, very cool looking snakes![]()
Nice job!
Sounds to me the summer pattern worked for you, just need to get out and give it a try. Need to get the long rods out and feel the tick tick tug.
