Default New wool and almost a good buy at a yard sale

Got two new hanks of wool = tangerine and teal at the farmers market

Almost bought a buffalo hide at a yard sale but the guy wanted to sell both the buffalo and a black bear hide together and wouldn't split them up. The black bear had to have come from a younger bear as the hair was really short and the skin was all beat up.

Yeah I bet he wanted to keep them together just so he could move the bear! Nice pick up though!

I'll bet that buffalo hide would have made up some nice ties.

It had some really nice long hair but I have to take/pay to get rid of my trash and it just wasn't worth the cost to get rid of it. I have some buffalo from a fly tying swap box and it's really nice stuff.

A buddy on a fly tying site went on a Kodiak Bear hunt and got one, hoping he might have some trim pieces I contacted him and it's still being worked on so here's hoping - would really like to add another bear hair to my tying box.
