    Default Six Inch Fish at

    By You Sorrel.

Made a trip today after work. Thought the rain would pass on the way to the launch. Wrong, got the boat launched and ran to a spot close. Caught the trout, white and goo there. Then the rain came. Ran under cover and waited it out. Never stop but slowed to a drizzle. Worked some of my spots from years pass and ended with a mess.

No water moving in the area I fished. Never made it to Berry Lake or the way back.

I can't believe you put that dirty goo in the boat much less the same ice chest.

Nice catch. That goo has the prettiest white meat. Just trim the fat and blood line off.

Thanks for the report jig. Last few times I went to maringouin bayou the water was not moving either. ..I seem to do better when it's moving some.
