Had a blast with daughter and father-in-law (TN Tom) on GSFL today. Very windy, but got in behind the bluff, so it was tolerable. Targeting crappie close to the bluffs early and found smaller ones 12-14 FOW. Switched to the deeper water where the 10-12 inchers were. Used minnows, water 78. Caught a half dozen small LMB, some channel cats, and a 18 inch saugeye (supper). Little one got antsy, so we tied up and explored the Geary Lake waterfall which was still flowing pretty good. Great time. Brad
Stella starts us off right
Crappie get better with more depth.
Saugeye hit the minnows.

WTG! Thanks for the report.
We stopped by the lake on the way home from Crappie Camp at Milford this last spring. Nice lake and found some crappie swimming around in the lake. Wish i would of known there was a waterfall there, kids would of loved to check it out. But there probably wasn't much water flowing back in early May.

Went back on our Monday holiday with a work buddy and caught 4 fish all day (a white bass, a bluegill, a channel cat, and 1 little crappie)! Used artificial all day, couldn't figure out the right combos though.
Great post and pics........you've got quite a little fishergirl there and getting to fish with Grandpa is really special....the waterfall looks really cool!![]()
FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FISHING...... hopefully in that order but honestly, not always!
