I have used Star Tron for several years now and love the stuff. It will even clean carbon deposits off the valves plus take care of the ethanol and anything else. It's and enzyme so even if one has Stabil in theirs you can still add this to change over. It keeps fuel good for over 2 years and it's not important if you put too much. Will even make fuel that has turned bad back good again.

    Star Tron Enzyme Fuel Treatment

    Peak Vise Dealer
    Tying Materials, Chenille and Hackle
For Pictures of my Crystal, Nylon/Rayon or
New Age Chenille Please PM Me! Also I
have the Saltwater Neck Hackle and some
colors of Marabou plus other things!

Been using ethanol gas in my four stroke Yamahas for years with no problems....all my fuel lines are alcohol resistant and I have a water separator filter and I use Marine Stabil.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

    Hey Skip,

Lets look at what's in it.

95% Naphta, which is a solvent. Very similar to gasoline.
    1-5% Xylene another solvent
2-Butoxyethanol is a inexpensive solvent it is used in many domestic and industrial products.

It's nothing magic, except the way it removes money from one's wallet. Modern day snake oil.IMO

It's what we in the industry call a wallet flush product.

Be careful. The Gate's manufacturer trainer told me most hoses are only good for 10% alcohol. The feds are trying to go to 15-20% AND IF YOU ADDING TREATMENT S THAT CONTAIN Alcohol YOUR INCREASING YOUR %

According to Mercury and Yamaha ethanol at 10 percent is ok.......you will ruin your motor with 15 percent. 15 percent is not out yet.

When I have carb problems I use yamaha's ring free. I once had a 150 outboard that wouldnt crank. You could smell the varnish. I hooked a 6 gallon tank mixed with ring free. I had to stand on the bulb to get gas in it. I let it sit over night. The next morning it cranked. I put it in the water and it barely ran for about 15 minutes then took off. Ran like it was just tuned up. Saved me a $100.
