Thanks, I'm gonna try my silicone spray and see how it does.

When fishing shiners I use a larger slip cork and a larger split shot.
I don't want to add weight, hurt's the bite/action. IMO

I guess The PETROLEUM DISTILLATE in the spray could soften the line and the silicone makes it slick.

. I usually fish a 1/16 tube with my cork. I modified the holes in the bead to get the best slide. Thinkin the silicone spray would help with line twist and the slip.

I hope to test it in the AM.

JR, I had lazy seat belts in my Toyota Tundra. I soaped them good and let them dry, I then sprayed them with silicone and they slip nicely now. I would think it would help on slip bobbers, spray the bobber and the line.

When I started using it I found it does help. It is also supose to have something in it that like sunblock, blocking UV that shortens the life of the line. WD-40 will make all the airborne dust stick to reels in storage and it dries making the stuff bad for freshwater , but it is good for flushing Salt off

Yes the stuff is even good for your seats and dash as well as a ton of other items.

Reel Majic works well on a stuck bendix (the gear that engages the flywheel when you try to start the OB). Just rotate it up toward the flywheel and give the spring and shaft a good squirt. I used it about a month ago. That's worth having a can in the boat. Yeah, it works well on the reels also. As far as the line goes, make sure you have a clean passage throuth that stopper. On some that I use, I put a stopper plug or what ever you call it in the top and bottom of the stopper so the line is free to pass thru the stopper. Hope this helps. SLIP

I use to fish with inexpensive fly rods that had cheap eyes. The line didnt slide through the guides well, a spray of reel magic would solve the problem. Still use it on my reels when I saltwater fish. Works great.
