    I PM'd you about losing the lucky hat earlier. Are there any brown/white mesh ones left?? I'd be forever in debt!

    40-50 trips to burnt cane in it's heyday would have done it. Now things are different. 250 was an average day for a while. I had about 10 brush piles in deep water that stayed covered with crappie. Might have been catching the same ones every day but it was catch one, straighten your jig, drop down to 9-10 ft and there he would be catch him, determine if you were keeping him and either release him or put in cooler. Repeat. In the time it took to describe it. Either my brush has rotted or they have moved to new spots. Tough to catch them now.
    Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
