Yes it is invasive.

In the fall in years past we carried a hoe (garden tool) in the boat during the fall down around Moore's bayou ,post lake and merrisach we would pull holes in the alligator grass and throw ole spanky in there have caught a manny crappie that way! !!!!

Mrs DP has been telling me that for almost 11 years now. DP
