    Default First Outing

Okay, so this is actually happened last week on wednesday evening. But hull met water, bum got wet and even tried to fish a little as the whole experience was meant to be a learning one and figuring things out like where should stuff be put, how reachable are things, and of course where to put fishing accessories. I am building a cart for toting my beast because this outing I had my fiance with me and she helped carry the boat to the water which was very nice of her indeed, but she will not be with me every outing I do. I plan on getting a carrier for the yak but for now the budget only allows for low cost travel ideas.

Good looking kayak, launch location and place to fish. Congrats. Yep, need to build a little kayak dolly to help get it to the water without draggin' too much.

Mich. Man , if you bought your kayak from bass pro like I did , I don"t recommend the carrier that bass pro sells for the fs10. I bought one and am not happy with it. it sells for sixty five plus tax and I don"t think it is worth it. just my two cents worth. Jimmy

You will most likely be happier building your own carrier.

    Congrats on the new kayak.
We carried my pair out for a 15 mile river ride this past week. The dolly my son gave me for Father's Day really helped getting them back up the bank.

It's an eagle talon, I was able to get it on sale. So far I'm loving it.
