    Default Fishing Creek Nightstalk 6/28

Well, I guess I will post the results seeing as how I had nothing to do with any of them. Really am glad I was in Remus' Yacht with a nice couch to lay down on cause I sure was not doing anything else.
Fellows, Please help with names. I know Big Dawg and Ofish were there, along with Rod Bender but I did not get everyone's names so help me out with some input.

I met Uncle Remus at the Hwy 21 ramp at 6:30 and we got everything ready to hit the water while we waited for others to get there.

We watched a beautiful sunset on a peaceful evening. So far so good.

Ofish(John) was anchored just ahead of us and several other boats were in the area also. Think we had 5 or 6 boats, maybe more fishing with us.

I had just about given up on us catching anything other than a couple of 5" catfish when Remus got a good hit and pulled in a nice perch. We put the scale on him and he weighed 1 Lb 6oz. That, Gentlemen, was the highlight of the evening for Team Remus and SeaRay.

We came out at 1 AM and several boats had nice catches. How we fished in the middle of all this and did not catch a crappie and only one perch is why they call it fishing instead of catching I guess.

After all the jawing and wise cracking, the real fisherman was identified.

Ray , You done bout said it all. We had a great turnout with 6 boats fishing. Some of the regulars and a couple new ones. Remus done spoiled you on that yacht. I think if the couch was a little bigger y'all would be on a luxury cruise ! That thing is nice . We had a tough night for about everyone. Not a huge number of fish caught. But there were some nice ones weighed in. Cant remember the weights so some of you guys chime in with the numbers. I know that RodBreaker and crew had big fish and heavy five. My boat was second and SS.Minnow was third. Again not sure on the weights. I do know that Little RodBreaker showed his dad and grandpa how to catch the bigguns. He had 2 very nice fish. All in all we had a great time. A few minor malfunctions along the way. Some guy on my boat let the anchor rope slip away while we were trying to reset the anchors. Stevie told me not to let go of that rope but us old people wont listen. Stevie caught the same gar twice before I got him. He made a mess out of 7 of 8 rods before we finally put him out of our misery. BigDawgg had an off night , which is unusual for him. A work buddy of mine came out and caught a few. We had a great time just jawing and yakkin between the boats. Back at the ramp we had a small problem. Some no count had removed a cooler and a few things out of my truck. They took a 50 lb. bag of dog feed out of RodBreakers tool box. With a couple more things. I HATE A THIEF. But overall we had a fun night. Thanks to all that fished. Hope to do it again.

Another good looking outing from the fellows that fish after the sun goes down. Congrats to all that participated, from the pics it looks like a few really nice fish were caught. Thanks for the report and pics fellows.

When I pulled into the parking lot the first thing I noticed was the shattered glass from a car window in the lot. I was afraid something might get stolen. I hate a thief. Why on earth would anybody steal dog food?
