    Default tuesday afternoon @ Buggs

well got a chance so went to see if could find some yesterday after lunch- put in @ OC bout 1 figured to work toward buffalo till bout dusk- piddled around hwy 58 bridge to start - got 1 keeper- none of the minnow guys were catching any either so went to hit brush piles- first spot is 2 bout 300 yrd apart - see a boat on far 1 so stop @ the closest 1 to give it a try- couple dinks- I see the boat on the far one is leaving & as it comes by heading toward OC I recognize the boat- its Doc- we wave & as I watch him ride off a sinking feeling hits me- Doc's coming from buffalo heading toward OC as im starting @ OC heading toward buffalo- THIS CANT BE GOOD!! LOL! well too late to change plans just gota cowboy up & fish where he done been! hit brush piles to bout bluestone & end up with 18 keepers, 2 white perch & a 7 lb bluecat! no real big crappies but good eating fish 8-10 inches- & that ol cat was a blast on that crappie rod! threw bout 1 lil one back for every one I kept so figure bout a 40 fish afternoon- figured all the slabs was in Doc's boat!!- water temps hot high 80's - all fish casting jigs on brushpiles in 17-25 fow- the only thing hotter than the weather was the video I saw for Carrie & Miranda's new song I saw when I got home!!!
My wife swears I only do enough surveying to support my hunting & fishing because I'm too busy hunting & fishing !
