Mine is about 5' with a 1.5' bunger and snap caribeener on the end. If shallow enough I stick it through the eye of the trolley if not I hook it to the trolley with the snap. If deeper than that I anchor up.

Oh and a piece of pool noodle on it in case I drop it. I have a 1/2" fiberglass dowell from grainger for mine.

Thanks for the info. Mike. Made my own trolly like they show on youtube for about $10. I have the same dowel from grainger just need to cut 5' off it.

Hopefully you ran it from end to end. Makes it easier to swing boat around to reposition. And get ya a butt cushion they make for treestands for about 10 bucks at walmart, helps immensely.

Went out this morning to try out the kayak. A little shaky at first but got settled in and it was fine. Kept the seat side up. Thinking about putting stabilizers on it though. Next trip will be to Guana Lake to see if I can get on to some trout and reds. Linda, surprisingly there is plenty of leg room.

Its a sit on top CG1. Like a big surfboard. Not like the older sit in style.
