    Default 6/25/14

Been a few weeks since I've been able to get out. Caught over 35 today, culled a lot of future fish. Kept 13 prisoners.
Fished submerged stake beds and brush piles in 12-18FOW, took a little time to figure out the color but once that happened it was game on. Good day to be out, light winds and the clouds helped keep the sun shaded. No minners or rod holders were harmed....

Hard to tell in the pics. Did the fish look like they were in good shape? Some of the ones I've been catchn were a tad poor.

Wiskers, seems that since spring they have been a little skinnier than years past.
They definitely need to strap on the feed bag. I saw more bait balls yesterday than in the past couple months. This past winter had a negative impact in several areas.

    Thanks guys.

Rickie, I may need some pointers on cranking. Tried it with the kids a few weeks ago for the first time out cranking. We caught a few, but if I decide to use that technique for late summer, I'm gonna need some guidance.

I'm afraid I'm not going to be much help because I haven't actually started crankin yet...

I'm still tryin to get my boat set up for crankin...
