Gas burner gmc/Chevy beat ford mpg hands down. Buddy just got a tundra and loves it. I've got a buddy with a f150 5.0 and he gets decent mileage. But 1 mpg is not a make or break point for me. My selling point is the dealership nearest you and how they stand behind the vehicle they sell. Everybody loves one vehicle brand. I like fords, but rode in a '14 Chevy 2500 6.6 and it may convert me
Nissan or Yota you guys say. My grandfather and dad would turn over in their grave if I did such a thing. Not going to happen - ever, regardless, period.

Tacoma gas mileage relatively sucks...I avg about 17. That said, 130k and only had brakes and one u-joint. Still as right driving and rattle free as when I got it. 2wd with rear locking diff and I put many a dura max and f250 to shame pulling my boat out at chotard and Washington . Same rear end as the big Yota. I can run 60 mph with the boat and get 14 mpg, 75 and it drops to 12. That said, for what you give up in size and long haul comfort, I'm going with an f150. Plus your fat so u need a big truck.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
