    Default G-Daddy Baits

You guys that are needing a custom crappie bait made....look no more. We got ours from Frank and they are A-One quality. He made us the Pumpkin / Pink color that won a tourney here years ago during a C-USA regional, to my knowledge no one makes this color. The 3 color pink / pearl / chart. is an old Slabman Reynolds color that catches year round. You will find no baits with this bright chartreuse anywhere. Thanks again Frank.

Leland if you make an OSU Cowboy rod that " bends but don't break" they might sell quicker than the Boomer Sooner rods! (-:

You better be very careful using a college trademark stuff on your rods and baits. I had a couple jigs attached to college and was because some guys had a bet between them using their football teams. SO the looser had to buy the other one some jigs from me. Well after that was over several others wanted jigs in their school colors so I had one that was an LSU Jig and another that was Alabama and a few others. I was contacted by their lawyer and told to stop using their name or get a suit filed against me. Needless to say I didn't remover the jigs, but I did take the school names off, LOL! I see that big OU on there and unless you have their permission I suspect at some point someone will contact you in a not so pleasant way, LOL!

You also need to become a sponsor if you want to have a Sig with add type stuff in it. SO if you wish to keep you Sig, get with Slab to get hooked up with being a member sponsor.

The OU helmet logo is from a sticker laminated to the rod. No different than putting an OU helmet logo on your rear windshield. I am an Alum, however I did have to get written permission when I had FootJoy make a custom pair of golf shoes for me with OU on the side heel of each shoe. The person that I talked to at OU and that sent me the letter was Mrs. Barry Switzer. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Just thought you if you didn't know and anyone else thinking of using their name or logo, then better get permission if available and if not, don't do it boys! Glad you talked to them first and I wouldn't have though you would have that on your rod without being at least a big fan of that school. That is what we do right?

Oh and almost forgot there is a Member Sponsor Classified Board just for sponsors and it's not the same as the classified board open to all. Good place to place an ad or post a special.

Thanks for the info on the special ad board however only members see that correct? Yes OU licensing said it was just fine to use the purchased logos of OU on a rod for your personal use. So my Rod pictures shown are just fine! The lines gets crossed when trying to profit from the sale of any product with an OU or Sooners logo on it. Then that requires licensing clearance.

Thanks for the heads up Skip,....I have been through same thing a few years ago. Frank, how much you want to wager if one of those rods were for a coach it wouldnt even come up? Skip, them SEC boys get a little testy.
