Nope part of the purchase, if he had wanted them ignored he would have removed them. I buy and sell a lot of depth finders depending on to who I sell I remove them sometimes, sometimes I don't.

After 5 years of fishing out of my 15' duck boat I've jumped into the deep end! I bought a used fish/ski boat that was owned by a local crappie fisherman.
Here's the dilemma...
The previous owner didn't clear his waypoints off the GPS. In the opinion of C.c, am I obligated to ignore said waypoints?

What is a waypoint?
girl you got a lot to learn!!!A waypoint is a point of interest marked by the fisherman in his depth finder that uses GPS, makes it easy to go back to a location. Having someone else's waypoints just give you a general I idea of where they have fished before. sometimes its obvious why they marked it and sometimes you don't have a clue.

Maybe I need to get one of those units so I can mark my path in/out of the woods and unlocked boat ramp restrooms, hahaha. And don't worry--I was taught there's no such thing as a dumb question, so I won't stop asking.

Firebug,I use a handheld as well and you shoukd def get one. Mark the spot every time I catch a fish which leaves a nice trail to run again.

Depends on who you bought it from--the waypoints may not be worth a thing![]()
