Finally got a Saturday off so I decided to give the fishing a shot. Was not happy I couldn't find my tuffy minnows, all I could get was shiners. I had my doubt but I carried on. Was on the water at sun up. The water temp was 88ish. Fished 20 ft of water top of brush was around 10 ft. First brush I thought I dropped in a catfish family. Caught 2 crappie and caught 4 catfish and one broke me off.
I decided to pack it up and try another spot. Caught 10 nice crappie and another small cat. Then the joy riders and skiers woke up and I decided to move due to all the waves throwing my boat around.
One last spot I caught 1 before deciding it was too hot to be rocking and rolling from the other boats.
Oh yea found my tuffies. Will give her a try inthe morning.
Will try and add photos later.
Ain't nothin wrong with that stringer of fish. Congratulations on a good outing.

Outstanding! Good to see you was able to snare a few before the local yokels turned the lake into wave pool. Congrats!

Nice catch. Good to see you had a good morning before the traffic hit the lake.
