3 rods is tough. Next spring should be half as good as 2 springs ago. 11" change is showing its outcome. They need to go back to 12". 3 rods might be tough but it has its purpose. Not going to catch as many with 3 vs 5. I say 12" and 2 game wardens at each ramp during peak months there presence alone gets the mouths talking and the double dipping stopping. Also 10 for a limit. You would have 10 nice fish and possibly a 17" to brag about. Instead we're looking at puny 11" fish and maybe a 15". 10 big slabs is a nice stringer. But with all that said if they don't change the pressure will fall back due to these recent reports. That's why they changed it to 11". Who wants to drive a hour to fish and throw back fish.

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The sheep live in fear of the wolf but in the end it's the shepherd that eats them.

a gun the goes bang when it is supposed to go click.
Cry me a river. ... some of y'all cannot and will not ever be satisfied. Here's one. Let's just close the big 4 for a yr. No worries be happy. Geeezz
I hope you're negativity over the fishin keeps every other boat off the lake too...I want it all to myself just as much as yo do..... keep on keeping on but know this I'm just calling em like I see em
5 pole 12 inch!!!!!
Don't worry about it....be happy ....go fishing. Been fishing Sardis since 1964 and they haven't run out of fish yet.....goes in cycles sometimes....good years and bad years. I think all the lakes do that.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

There's the wisdom.
I don't want it by myself just do a little more enforcing at boat ramps when it's peak season. I know when they went 10" to 12" it took a few years and when the size caught up it was perfect. Dropping to 11" satisfied people that were throwing back 12" borderline fish never should have changed. Also 14 years ago there wasn't no where near as many trolling out there today. Times have changed so 3 poles and a 15 limit is dead on for now. Another thing look at all the clubs and tournaments that's going on and that keep poping up a lot of the reason is due to trolling. Instead of spring fishing for crappie it's 365 days a year now this ain't like it was there going to have to stay on top of this. Don't get me wrong on the clubs and tournaments people need something to do I get it. The way I look at all these tournaments is like going to the fair to play a game you got better chances of winning pulling a duck out of a baby pool than you do throwing a ring around a bottle neck. Everybody is pulling that duck "trolling" can't blame em. Same goes with fishing the other 10 months out of the year it's to easy. I like pulling the duck too. I need to get back on point. Everybody have fun and catch a boat load of 11" fish so we can go back to 10" length.
