That may have been a joke, but the price tag is not. For $400, do you know how many years I could supply myself with Igloo Marine coolers at $20/each?? I won't say I will never have a Yeti, but if I do, you can bet your arse it was given to me!![]()

I have been hearing lots of good things. The technology involved in the design of these things must be incredible. I have even heard rumors of the use of pure gold for the re-isomerization of the whowatsit dohickey, hence the $399 price tag........
Seriously though, these things are supposed to be bad arse. Anybody care to give a review ? Convince me that I need one.
Oh, for those that dont get my humor, the first part was a joke.![]()

I really like mine the only prob I have with it is u can't pull it out of the garage and throw ice in it and expect it to last long cause if it has been hot for a while it try's to stay hot but after u cool it down with the first bag of ice it will hold the rest for a while and I don't really like how heavy it is

I gave one a good test four days on the Lower Buffalo. It held ice pretty dang good. However, I don't think they are worth $400. Unless you were constantly out for 5 days at a time without additional ice, I would stick to a $50 cooler. Yeti type coolers are only real efficient if you are not constantly in and out of them. If you or one of your kids is constantly opening the lid to get something out, the ice melts pretty quick.

I have one and really like it. If you do decide to go this route check out the ORCA brand coolers, they are based on the same design and are made in the USA. I would have purchased the ORCA had I known about them sooner.
Those orcas look nice!
I have the 20 qt and love it. Ice will last a lonnnnng time. Also will hold about 15 drinks. Also had the big one but sold it as it was too heavy and bulky to lift by yourself. I have had way too many small coolers and by noon your drinks are barely cool and the ice is all gone. The small one is definitely worth the extra money and has a good steel handle. I would look at any insulated cooler orca, yeti, or similar type in the small size. Just my two cents.
I sell Brute coolers for part of my job. Better made than Yeti IMO. 5 year warranty. Close to 20% cheaper too.
That all said I wouldn't have one myself if they hadn't given me a demo to haul around. They are nice and stay cold after you sacrifice a bag of ice.
Have the 20 qt don't leave home with out it!! Got it as a Christmas present!!!
