Don't care how long it take really because they are providing a rental. They did say that the work was warrantied for life--for what ever that's worth.
I'll never use the insurance's prefered bodyshop again. Had a tree limb fall on my car a few years ago, when the adjuster came out I mentioned that I had had to move the car and noticed that the air wasnt working. The adjuster said he would have the body shop check it out. I get the car back after the body repairs and the air still doesnt work. I asked the shop and they told me the insurance company told them not to fix it, that it was not related to the claim. I had to take the car to a mechanic buddy of mine that had a freon meter, he was able to find a spot in the ac condensor where the metal support that the hood latch was attached to had buckled and gouged a spot in the condensor causing a coolant leak. Took the car back to the shop and pointed this all out and they finally fixed it but I was not happy about having to jump through hoops and diagnose the problem for them.
    I got 350 heads on a 305 engine.
I get 6 miles to the gallon.
I aint got no good intentions.

Yep--this kinda stuff is mostly a big inconvenience for sure but I don't care who does it because I'm not paying--as long as the damage caused is fixed and it's done right. Now if I were paying--Id have already diagnosed everything and told them exactly what, where, and when Did just get a text saying 6/9 for the completion date--good deal--get to drive a new altima for a few extra days

Got it back today--they did a great job on it. The transmission is fixed and I even had them do a few other things at the body shop other than the insurance stuff. Since it's been sitting awhile You can tell it's got a bad front hub bearing--I'll take care of that myself.
