My Daughter and I caught a few today at Cedar Creek. Out of the 35 we picked up, We (I) cleaned 22. All were caught in 10 fow and they were 5 ft deep. Most were caught on minnows but a few came on jigs tipped with minnows. Water temp is 78. The three biggest fish still had eggs in them.......??????

Am I seeing a WHITE Crappie in her left hand ... sure looks like one. I hope not, as that may eventually cause problems with overpopulation & stunting. And since there's already a no size limit rule in effect, which has helped create a much better Crappie fishery at Cedar Creek ... an overpopulation of White Crappie would likely set that back to the days of 7-8" fish being the norm.

    ... cp

PREACHERMAN316, I am primarily fishing in the mouths of coves along the middle of the lake from the secong dock to the bridge.
CP, 90% of the fish I have caught this season have been blacks. Far away the largest I have caught have been blacks.
The fish on the left was 14inches and the right one was 12 and a half inches.
