If you are talking about long-lining, it has been around for a couple of decades, but like everything else, it is always improving. There are some guys on here that are really good at it that will be glad to help.

Seeing several post on this new technique of pullin jigs. Someone bring me up to speed on this, I'd love to try it.

Not sure exactly what's it called. May be long lining. Saw a post last week from Kenyon and he referred to it as a new technique for him. Thant's why I thought it might be something totally new.
Kinda like pulling crankbaits except using jigs! !!!!

Throw out jig as far as you can cast on a really good casting day. Drive fast. Reel in fish. So easy even a caveman could do it. (give Wayne a big holla he be da man)

It's like pulling cranks you just go slower. to adjust your depth pulling cranks you use your amount of line out with jigs you control your depth with your speed. As RCC said make a long cast behind the boat, an 1/8 oz jig will go about 8 feet deep going 1 mph. I put my longest rods(18') to the front of the boat next is a 14' next is a 10 on each side. Then I run 6-5'er across the back for a total of 12. Hi vis line helps alot keeping your lines untangled when reeling in a fish. May sure to keep line tight when picking rod out of holder, that is where my customers lose most of their fish.

Thanks Hudnut for asking the question. Thanks Wayne or answering. That info will help me. To be completely honest, I've done it a few times, but have no clue why I caught, or did not catch.
