Thread: Minn Kota shaft diameter?

Are all the shafts on the MKs the same diameter except for the Terrova? I have an endura 40. Is it the same diameter as the power drive?

FYI

I plan to add remote steering to the endura on the aft of the boat. The circuitry is simple. I do not need speed control. I am just using the aft motor as a direction thruster. I have a couple of steering motor housings (donated by c.com members) for power drives. So, hoping the shaft is the same.

Yes, the circuit I made to use the Lowrance NMEA out data to steer my MK along a pre-programmed route works. I have to fine tune steering algorithms. I had to take a year off to build my boat.

If not you may be able to put a sleeve over it to get the size needed,i am planing on trying to make a v2 and a cable both in one for i still love cable but want to be able to remote steer at times,just got to find minn kota v2 ,i have the older one but it will not work on hand held remote
