    Havent fished there much in the last few years was wondering if anyone has any info on tbe population there. Also any general areas or tips for the summertime patterns there. Thanks...

    I am not exactly the greatest source cause I dont fish It much but did catch some crappie out of the cottonwood river running into marion this spring and have last year in the middle of the summer also. They havent been very abundant or of much size though. Some of the coves on the south side of the lake can produce also. If you are going to give it a try would like to know how you did!

    If you have a boat, I have caught crappie off the dam in anywhere from 6 to 12 feet. I have had my best luck in the early part of May, or from late September into the fall.
