    Default Jordan lake 5/28/2014

Conditions: lake level at pool, surface temp 77-81, NW wind at 5 stained water

I had a chance to fish for a few hours. Pattern for today was brush pile in 12-14 foot water fish suspended at 7 ft; 85% on minnows and the rest jigs, blk and chart
I caught 21 fish only 2 keepers at 10 inches the rest healthy 9.0 to 9.75 length; I attended the talk last spring this only continues to confirm what I learned fish never live long enough to get to 10 inches. Disappointing it is hard to continue to go to Jordan lake. I turned back all fish.

I wasn't at the talk, but could you elaborate on your comment about the fish not living to ten inches? Is that something the DNR considers alarming and are there plans to address it?

Great report, by the way. Thanks

Fish don't live long enough to get 10 inches? What world are you living in?

I have caught plenty of 11-14 inch fish this year already. I couldnt tell you how many 10 inch fish I have thrown back. I live 1.5 hours away and don't mind driving g to Jordan because of the quality of the fish.

We had best spring on Jordan this year that we've had in a few years. Plenty of fish above 10". Caught a ton of 9.5-9.75'' fish also. Same here as shane1980, long drive. but was definitely worth it this year.
