Default Ok guys, I noticed when I was getting ready to go fishing saturday

morning that the bulb on my fuel line was pretty stiff, think I will replace the line. What you guys suggest, what I looked at saturday evening at Gander Mt was the ones where you had to cut the ends off of you old line and use them. Is that something that would be ok to do ? Or should I consider buying the complete setup up ? I want to change it too because of ethanol and I know the same line has been on the boat for at least 3 yrs that I have owned the boat.

Just go to where they sell boats and buy you a new ethanol resistant bulb and also some ethanol resistant fuel line and replace
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

THE OLD SAYING "PAY ME NOW OR PAY ME LATER" APPLIES HERE ! WENT THE WALMART WAY AND ENDED UP SPENDING A TRIP TO THE SHOP . NOT FOR THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT PER SAY , JUST HOW IT WAS PUT TOGATHER . SEEMED FINE BUT WAS SEEPING AIR BY THE CONNECTORS AT THE BULB . COST ME 70 DOLLARS AT THE SHOP AND 20 SOMETHING AT WALMART . COULD HAVE BOUGHT A FACTORY ONE AT THE TIME AND ATE AT" CRACKER BARREL" FOR LUNCH ! THEY PUT TWO PLASTIC ZIP TIES ON AND PULLED TIGHT . AFTER MESSING WITH IT FOR A WEEK ,AND TRYING EVERYTHING FROM CAPS TO SPARKPLUGS BEFORE TAKING TO SHOP I GLADLY BUY THE BEST NOW !

I have always used the ones from walmart and had good luck.I think letting a boat setup for long periods will ruin alot of stuff.
