Pleasant Surprise
I have been feeding the dink bream in my pond for about a month along with the dozen or so catfish that like to show up. So, yesterday afternoon, the neighbor shows up with his kids and I turned them loose on the bream and they were catching one every cast. They are not but, about 4 to 5 inches long. But, the kids thought they were whales. Then...we started casting rooster tales and started catching crappie.I didn't even know I had crappie. And they are not dinks. I got decent crappie about 200 feet from my back door.

Keep feeding them. Mine are about 2 and a half yrs old now. The bluegills and the crappie are growing about the same rate so far 9 inch bluegills and 9 inch crappie. and the catfish are about 5 lbs now.
