Why don't you go ahead and get your permanent license? Then you would never have to worry about it again.

Got an email to renew the license. I went to the site and jumped through all the hoops only to find at the very end it would cost $2.5 for shipping via USPS. I closed it out and went to Academy after church and paid $5. Why would it cost so much to have the USPS drag their feet and maybe not loose it.

Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at www.wlf.louisiana.gov. Maybe later it will work. I think I checked that a while back and for some reason it was not best for me. We'll see later.
Makes since for me to pay the 2.50. I think Walmart is the only place in town to get them here and good luck getting ANYONE TO HELP YOU WITH THAT!!!!!

A Bad Day of Fishing is Better Than a Good Day of Work!
http://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/licenses/lifetime-licenses Might have been a good deal at some point earlier in life. I only started rec fishing a couple of years ago. The WLF site says you have to get all kind of license I would never need at 10 times the price.
I'm fine with $5.00 per year. Like PS said it depends on where you are in age. I don't have a lot of years remaining. I'm taking one year at a time and I'm legal for one more now.
My belief is that if you have a teen that like to fish and hunt the best gift you can give them is a lifetime license. Odds are he/she will beat the yearly cost of license.
