I have a question. I have seen these jig heads on the internet in various places and was wondering about trying them also, my question is this, if the law says 2 hooks per pole and you got this on with a regular hook above, isn't that too many hooks on each pole???? Just wondering???

Nope, as long as it is part of the jig, not tied to it with line, its legal. Just like a crankbait has 2 trebles or 6 hooks depending on how you look at it, its legal to pull 2 cranks on on line if you are so a mind to, just a pain tho.

    How did they do?
Biggest crappie to date is 3 lb 9 oz at grenada in 1988. Still hangs on my wall.

You dont think they'd be good for jigging in thick cover?
