Awesome sir! You're right of course about the new job...hard to fish and watch blackberry at same time, as you know!

For me today....My doorbell rang this morning and the neighbor girl who has always asked to go fishing...well her family's moving with the Army next week so she said that this was her last chance. Couldn't resist, we hit Rush Creek. She caught her first fish! No crappies, even though I tried for them with minnows. We're cooking the wipers from past couple of days for the neighbors tonight! Was out there this weekend...fishing was slow...caught some nice walleyes with one being 25 inches at 5.2 lbs for our big fish and I believe the smallest we caught was just right at 19. Managed to catch 1 crappie in 15 FOW while bottom bouncing for walleye. Tons of blues, channels, wipers, and white bass.

The bigg blues are being caught up around the mouth of the river where it dumps in. Cut baits being the bait of choice. Shad are being caught in cast nets under the causeway bridge.
