Thread: Poor House Branch Marina in Talladega (Photo)

I have launched there a few times and fished in that area but mostly went out to the river and fished around the mouth of Choccolocco creek. The past couple of years we caught more stripe and bass in that area than crappie. The man that did own it, don't know if he still does because he had it for sale for 1.5 million, was pretty much a jerk and no one liked him. When the water is down your trailer will drop off the ramp. The ramp is also at an angle to the drive and is a little tricky backing up.

I agree, launched there once in winter and about got stuck on the ramp. I agree with roger, when I long line up there i can catch a boat load of nice striper at right time of year. Have only bass fished in that area this time of year.

Most Likely had to use the word jerk to keep it kid friendly.
